I really love Musashi.

It's full of delicious things! The sashimi is fresh, and delicious! The sauces are so good that they often outshine the Kurobuta pork and Wagyu beef you're dipping them in to! They have Green Tea Crème Brûlée!

If you like Japanese food at all, this is a place you want to check out. Sure there's a queue to get in most times. But its awesometown japanese food at prices that students can afford. I just love that they pay attention to every detail, from how the random sides taste to how everything is presented. The major sashimi platter in particular is all kind of spectacular, but even the bento boxes we recieved for lunch was utterly perfect.

ITS JUST GOOD, ALRIGHT?! GO GET IT.

Also, they do a Sashimi + Wagyu Don for about $14. What kind of crazy came up with that? Are they insanity?
I just wish they kept the poster of the chefs smiling cheesily.

A Food Blagity

Two university students. The search for the ultimate in quality. Limited funds. Despite this latter fact, and with a mutual and unrelenting passion to consume their way through life, their taste-buds are taken on whimsical pathways through the many cultures, cuisines, and food-groups the city of Sydney, and the world following, have to offer. This is a blag documenting their adventures culinary. These are their stories.

The Boy: one whose addiction to all blends, origins, and grades of excellency of that wondrous bean of coffee sometimes gets in the way of his logic and reasoning; one who must consume rice at least four times a week; and one who, although often has opportunity to appreciate some of the best victuals on offer, likes to "offset goodness" with some truly 'random' food - it's a weird balancing system he has going. In his mind. We're working on that one.

The Girl: one who prefers a scoop of good gelato to a bad meal, would rather starve than eat a bad pizza, and takes her coffee: macchiato-shaped. Frankly, I can't keep up with the quality of food she insists on, nor the quantity. Must have something sweet after a meal to cleanse her palate, and cannot stand for staff to patronise her on the spicyness of the food. A little insane about nuts.

Ah, yes. We wish we were awesome enough to update when we please, however, alas, we are not. Or rather the amount of university work at the moment is, indeed, ridiculous. So we have made a decision!! We will now endeavour to complete posts every Tuesday and Saturday ... we are, say, like a disorganised webcomic. If you don't like that update schedule, get an rss feeder (they are rather good!!)
